5 things you should do now to grow your business revenue without the burnout!

 Are you overwhelmed by words like sales and marketing?

What if you could end up this first quarter with a confirmed set of clients for the rest of the year? Like, the big clients, like in Business-to-business deals or the high-ticket clients?

Listen up, even if you worked 24/7 per week for the rest of your life, you will never finish all the work you desire to accomplish, ever.

A client of mine told me last week how overwhelmed she felt by all the sales and marketing activities required in her business.

She felt like growing would require her to work 24 hours daily! And she was not interested in another burnout episode.

As black entrepreneurs or project owners, your goals are to earn more income wealth to pass on to your children... but not at the cost of your sanity.

And I want you to believe that it is possible. Many people have done it, and you will too.

In this article, I want to share 5 things you need to do now. You will grow while working only a limited amount of time a day on your business, only if you do these 5 things in this article, daily.

 

The 5 practical things to do to grow your business revenue without the burnout!

  1. Level up your Mindset: Block your working time to a limit, and do not go over it. Then, you need to level up the field and believe that you can grow without the grindwork. When you set your mind there, it forces you to think through the biggest opportunities within the timeframe you have. It makes you laser-focused!
    • For example, let's say your goal this week was to make 10 000$. Block 3h daily, where you are only going to do outreach work to find the prospects, clients, who have 10 000$ ready now to spend with you. This mindset exercise alone have made me move fast from time-wasting opportunities, to get more in the rooms where my help was needed. BONUS, it helps you to clarify what your Ideal Cleint Avatar is.
  2. Protect your Time: After your mindset, you need to take back control of your time. Remove all the distractions' activities from your agenda before they happen. And you do this, by reflecting at the beginning of every day and every week, what is the time that you can fully dedicate to your business?
    1. Are you a full-time entrepreneur already who's willing to work 40h on your business? Or, are you a part-time entrepreneur, who can only allocate 10 hours per week on the business? No matter what your time block is, block it, and remove all potential distractions and activities at that time. If you get invited to a meeting at 1 pm, but this is your prospecting time, it's a complete No! A client want to take up more of your time? It's a complete No. This is the only thing that separates entrepreneurs who grow rapidly from others: Time. So, take back control of yours.
  3. Set Your revenue goal: After you've defined your time and mindset, now set out the goal of revenue you desire to accomplish for the week. This should be tied to your lifestyle goals, but also to the evolution of your business. At this stage, I also want you to clarify how many clients do you need to get to realize this goal? And then, do the math to know how many people you should talk to daily! Remember, talking to aligned prospects daily, is the N.1 thing that will help your business grow rapidly in the short term.   4. Business boundaries: Once you are set on your mindset, time, and goal, it is time to decide on what activities will make the thing work. This is where I call in business boundaries. Once you have decided what your winning activities would be that would grow your business revenue, do not do anything else in that time, nothing else. Even you receive a call from Michelle Obama, you'll call her back! Yep! This is how serious this is. If Michelle had 10 000$ to give you, she or a member of her staff will try and reach you again. To make your business boundaries work, plan the work you'll do beforehand. Plan your leading offer, clarify the group of people and communities you will reach, who have the money to pay for your services or offers. I plan this work every night, so that the day after, I am working the plan.
  5. Set back your mind up: when you're not working, plan out the other resting activities, that will refresh your mind or make you think completely about something else outside work e.g. time with friends and family, spirituality, etc... Plan out this time as a non-negotiable as well. This leads me back to point 1. Your mind needs to be refreshed to have a sharp mindset. So if you miss out on planning this time and respecting it, you will always struggle with action 1 here above. This is so key. Many of my clients struggle with mindset because they are not intentionally doing the reset work.

Got it? It is very possible to grow your business or passion without burning out. 

Now it is not easy because it requires a combo work of your mind, your time, your goals, your boundaries, and your reset activities. 

But many successful entrepreneurs have done it, and you can too.
